Before beginning with this thought I want to thank Herbert Tejeda for sending me a video through the blog dosis necesaria, since it made me think in a different and I believe it offers many tools and ideas that are more or less what I want to share in this thought.
Compassion
Everyone has an idea of what it is, but I think most of the time they are mistaken.
This word comes from greek sympatheia, and latin cumpassio. But what impacts me the most is its literal meaning: Suffer together.
A woman said:
Compassion is the Ability to feel with others. It’s what prepares us to see the devine.
In essence, it has been a long time getting everyone to understand this thought.
Love your enemies:
Certainly this way of thinking leads to deeper ideas and a process to reach that status. For many, it was Nirvana, for others, it was the divine, and for others still, it was a lifestyle.
A man said:
If anyone should say that man is too small to deserve communication with God, he must be too great to have the right to judge.
I believe that none of us would judge this idea, but, why not find an idea of what compassion is? For a relationship with the divine.
In the manufacturer’s manual it says that what we do for one of His small, we are doing it for Him (God).
A woman said it better:
Each one of them is Jesus in disguise.
What leads us to feel with others?
Compassion
We often take compassion lightly, for many it means having pity or simply providing charity.
This thought leads us to feel compassion for ourselves, humans. We have fought against good, and we have a particular talent for ruining everything that’s wonderful.
I have realized that I don’t write to be heard and understood, I write to be re-educated.
I want to do more than give my opinion, I want to share thoughts that will help us to really think.
Compassion means going outside of ourselves. We shouldn’t use our compassion for our own group or environment:
We help those who we love, of course, why not? But I think that the idea of compassion goes beyond our own doors. Helping leads us outside, compassion can be seen and felt, it makes a difference.
A man said:
J.C. came to make blind those who see clearly and to give sight to the blind, to heal the sick, to let the wealthy die, to call the sinner to repentance, give them justification, and to abandon the righteous in their sins, to bridge the indigent and to empty the rich.
I love this thought! It puzzles me the change that Jesus brought, and the change that he was himself. Like another man said:
About Jesus, you can only take 2 positions, He’s either the son of God, or a complete maniac, but saying he was a good man, doesn’t work.
And it’s true, this man came to revolutionize the world so much that people were divided before and after Christ.
What I took from this is the amount of compassion that was in his heart. His compassion was unparalleled, so much so that nobody has ever managed to feel again.
He had his own group, nevertheless He used his compassion not only for his own group but for everyone else, he always looked around and do what is right .
The idea to honor unknown people:
I love how the idea of loving unknown people is the same as loving our enemies.
The word Kadosh in Hebrew, means Saint or Separate. It is a word that includes the 2 ideas instead of separating.
Kadosh talks about differences between us and our enemies, these separations are Kadosh – Saint. I think this idea is mainly about the respect we ought to have for those we don’t know. And that, is the main idea about compassion.
We move around day and night, in our cars, on the streets, in the malls. And we turn right and left, and we see people in need. I’m not saying only material needs, there are many other needs that are real but are overshadowed by our emphasis on money. We find more important this need than what really matters. Relationships, ideas, intelligence, love, and many other things that fill us. But we are too selfish sometimes to share.
All these ideas are good things, but we have forgotten compassion as it really is. We don’t feel with others, we say “sorry” when we really haven’t been in their shoes.
This quotes, Love Wins, Faith is.. blah blah, Giving isn’t giving until it interrupts your lifestyle… any other quote that we use as inspiration to make us think something nice, to inspire. Doesn’t work!
The fantasies in our minds don’t have a reason to exist until they are practiced and become a reality and inspiration for lifestyle.
I know there are many good ideas, but what if, at least once a week, we take our time to buy food, from any restaurant, something we really would eat, and we give it to someone in need. Do you have any idea of how many people we would feed by doing this!?
That’s why I challenge you this week. There is time. Let’s do it. Let’s feed someone. Not a friend, someone who is in need.
I would like to hear ideas and thoughts of what you feel when you do that.
A man said:
You have to be the change you wish to see in the world.
Questions:
-Do you have compassion or just pity?
-Are you willing to do something real, to make a difference?
-Is your life getting better through your actions?
-Are the lives of others getting better through your actions?
-Is your heart looking to do good? Or does it need a little push?

AMA A TUS ENEMIGOS.
NO UN AMIGO, O UN “te invito a comer”.
PREGUNTAS:
-En realidad tenés compasión on solo lástima?
